Marwa Abu khalil: Visual artist with an environmentally conscious approach to crafts and painting. Self- taught calligrapher, basket-weaver, and herbalist, I find pleasure in making things with my own hands and transmitting that experience to others. I work on revitalising and reclaiming Levantine traditions by finding connections between local crafts and contemporary art.
